Jon is running for Congress to remind D.C. that people come before profits. The truth is, we are not being represented. In office since 2002, Congressman Carter’s actions prove that he no longer cares to represent the people of this district.
Our campaign seeks to unite the people of Texas in order to bring representation back to us, the people. Jon’s goal is to foster a nation that serves the needs of all families not just the wealthy few. He believes our nation’s primary concern should be about the health, education, and equality of our citizens.
Our voices will no longer be ignored.

“It’s about having the courage to choose people over profits. It’s about doing what is morally right even when difficult, and having the integrity to keep doing so when you’re 1,500 miles away.”
— Jon Curtis
Healthcare is a human right. We have lost too many lives to steep premiums and ever increasing deductibles. It’s time we choose people over profits.
Let’s invest in our future by offering free public college and trades schools. In order for students to be a successful part of our economy, we must also relieve their student loan debt.
FDR noted “no business which depends for existence on paying less than living wages to its workers has any right to continue in this country.” Minimum wage must be a living wage.
They fought for our rights, they shouldn’t have to fight for theirs. Our veterans need more doctors, drastically reduced wait times, and more resources through the VA.
The path we are on is unsustainable. The time has come to modernize our infrastructure, foster sustainable resources and prepare for the effects of climate change.
